Battlescar Entertainment is a highly successful re-enactment company performing at major historical sites including Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and Fort George as well as working with prominent TV organisations including the BBC, National Geographic and many other video and film production companies.

Breif Details:

Battlescar’s existing website required a major redesign to reflect the success and change in direction the company has taken since starting in 1992. This high end, technically challenging brief required a content management system, online video streaming, and event management capabilities. The centrepiece of the system was to provide Battlescar’s management the ability to easily create, update, and manage business critical data of it’s clients and customers.

Our Solution:

Working within the clients budget and desired features, a phased implementation of the project was chosen. By focusing on the most important features first, Battlescar could more quickly reconnect with it’s user base and take advantage of the recent media exposure from the BBC and National Geographic. The site was rebuilt with a strong vintage design divided into three sections each targeting a specific user type; additional functionality in the form of content creation, data gathering, and user management tools. Periodically deploying new features to the site will keep the user experience interesting and allow the site to grow along with it’s customers.
